There might be something to this whole karma thing

Remember when I said I wasn't going to write a lot about "in progress" boy activities for fear of screwing things up?

Well, I think it might be working.

(Don't get too excited just yet, peeps. But at least I'm having dates! Three in as many weeks, in fact.)

In the meantime, I just have to tell you how glad I am that I picked Ryan as the winner for the Valentine poem contest. He seems like such a sweet guy. (Insert collective blog reader "Awwwww!" here.) I hope he gets his belated Valentine's Day package soon!

(BTW, have you ever bought presents for a stranger? It's sooooo not easy!)

Happy Hump Day, peeps! :)

Do remember what I told you when you said you weren't going to say much? I did the same thing when I started dating my husband, and well, now he's my husband.

I HAVEN'T bought a present for a stranger before, but you make me want to try! I actually think I'm a pretty good gift-giver, I'd love the challenge of buying for someone I don't know.

Hmmm....

Great post, good luck with your PLETHORA of dates!!

Jane Doe -- I DO remember that. Karma! :)

Amy -- thanks, lovely!

Cara -- gracias, senorita.

Anything -- I like to think I'm a good gift giver too. But it was WAY harder than I imagined. You should totes try it!

See-- I told ya so. Not really, but I thought I would say it!

Loose lips sink ships and too much info, might make the boys go.

Have fun on the dates. What good goes around, comes around.

Does any of this make sense?
Love,
Blogdad

I recently adopted this "don't tell too much" approach and I'm much happier :) I am still single, but it seems the more we talk about it, the more we think about it, and the more our friends know about it only seems to bring in negative or anxious thoughts (at least for me). Good luck! I'm rooting for you!

BTW I love your blog. Thank you for sharing. It's good to know I am not the only woman out here that's had some dating woes... I mean of course I hate that you're having them too, but... you know what I mean :-D
