Laptop love

Remember how I said blogdad was conspiring to fix me up with some guy he (sort of) knows?

Well, our beloved blogdad forgot to mention that, in the midst of telling this guy about me, he also whipped out his laptop -- in an office setting -- and showed the guy my picture on his computer!

(I'm told it was a "flattering" picture, which I assume to mean it was not a bathing suit shot from our family summer vacation.)

Sweet Jesus and Mary, peeps. It's like blogdad is a roving version of eHarmony!

(Except I didn't get to pick my profile picture!)

Get over it. You didn't sign on with eHarmony, but through birth, you are perpetually enrolled in
eBlogdad. Can I help it if I think you are worth it?

Love ya,
Blogdad

My friend and I were recently talking about the ubiquitousness of technology in our daily lives. Reading this post makes me think back to that discussion we had, and just how inseparable from electronics we have all become.

I don't mean this in a bad way, of course! Societal concerns aside... I just hope that as technology further innovates, the possibility of copying our memories onto a digital medium becomes a true reality. It's one of the things I really wish I could see in my lifetime.

Your dad is your biggest fan. My parents do the same thing only don't whip out their laptops (thank god because the first thing he would do is pull up my blog.)

At least blogdad didn't start a Facebook group, right?
