Taking the advice of blogmom...

... and not going to say much of anything about my visit with Mr. X this weekend.

(See? Even at 33 years old, I sometimes do still listen to my parents.)

So I'll just leave you with this:

Welcome to YESvember, peeps!

I used to get all excited when I was going to go out with a guy. I would tell co-workers, friends, that I had a date that weekend. We'd go out maybe twice, and then it just petered out. When I met my husband, I really liked him. I told one co-worker that I was going to see him that weekend. Obviously, it went really well. I didn't talk much about it until we'd been seeing each other for about a month already. I was afraid I'd jinx a really good thing.

But if Mr. X knows about the blog (and therefore knows he's "Mr.X"), Blogmom's probably right -- keep the details out for now. I hope it went well, at least!

MARK THE FRIGGING CALENDAR!! CALL THE PLAIN DEALER. Front page news:
"Daughter takes advice from Mother"

Blogmom gives me advice all the time and she is usually right. (99.89% of the time) She has a keen insight to things and puts an astute prospective on them.

Looking forward to another 38 with her.

Love,
Blogdad

Good girl, AAB. You are never too grown up to listen to mom! Very happy to see the smiling pumpkin:)

And, in reference to Blogdad's comment - apparently birthdays aren't the only thing he adds another year to - ma nedge!

Great stuff all around.

Clearly Blogdad knows how to work it with the "Blogmom's right 99.98% of the time" too. Well played, sir.
