Miserable schmiserable

By now you've probably seen that stupid story floating out there about how Cleveland is a miserable city.

(And if you haven't, I'm not even going to dignify it by linking to it or acknowledging its source.)

And while I rarely ever write about non-dating/love life/boy issues on my blog (since the rest of my life is actually relatively normal and probably not all that entertaining to read about), I just HAD to address it here.

Cleveland is not a miserable city.

I'm not even going to further elaborate on that. If you've never been here and don't believe me, come visit. I'll even put together an itinerary of things for you to do while you're here. And if you do live here and agree with that article... well, then maybe you need me to put together an itinerary of your own. Because there's PLENTY of cool stuff here to be proud of.

Now if my love life were deemed "most miserable," that might be a different story... ;)

AMEN SISTER!! I was born and raised in Cleveland, and on top of being a beautiful, cultured city, it's home to the finest, most down to earth people I've ever known!! Thank you for posting this!

I used to date a guy in Cleveland (sorry he has a g/f now, otherwise I would have already let ya know!), and would drive up there all the time. I love that city!! I got my Uggs there! :)

I'm also disappointed that they would even have that category.

Way to welcome everyone out of the recession, Forbes.

Kinda wonder about Forbes' agenda right? Have to say that some of my fellow Texans noticed the story and, of course, pointed it out to me. What can CLE do to turnaround the perception?

I have never been to Cleveland, but I HATE when people dog a city. There are great and bad things about every city. They just need to shut their pie holes. lol :)

PS "Cleveland Rocks!" (Sorry, had to)

Forbes must need the free publicity. They probably already know how proud we all are of our city & that this article would generate some heat, and also bring them some attention.

To quote one of our favorite comediennes, "Suck it, Forbes!"

Great post AAB. I wish more Clevelander's would stand up for our city and realize all of the amazing things we have here.

P.S. - Blogmom's comment is the best
