Don't move to Panama City!

At least, don't move there if you want to stay married.

A new article was just published citing America's 50 divorce capitals, and Panama City topped the list. Lucky for me (and those of us who live here), Cleveland didn't make the cut.

(Not that it matters much for me... since you have to actually get married before you can get divorced.)

Is your city on the list? And do you really think where you live has something to do with whether you stay married?

P.S. What's up with all the celeb divorces being announced this month?

ha! the hubs is from Panama City (as you know) and he always talks about moving back there someday. I would rather give myself 10 papercuts than EVER do that. Maybe this is just the article I need to change his mind. Thanks AAB!

And to get married, you first have to date (well, in most Western cultures, at least)... there's my problem.

Anyway... is it just me or is the South in gerneral and Florida in particular frighteningly well-represented on that list? No wonder everyone down there seems bitter (for the number oriented out there 12 of the 50 cities are in Florida; the #2 state, Alabama, has 5 cities in the list)

And to think that some people *cough* *cough* have considered moving to Florida from Northeast Ohio.
